Dlocy Announces Disbandment

Posted by Noah On December - 21 - 2009

More bad news from Dlocy, the band has announced that they will be disbanding early next year.

According to their various personal blog posts on the matter, their final live together will be their sponsored live event that is taking place on February 23rd. No official announcement of the decision has been posted on their OHP yet, but once/if their is, we will be sure to update everyone.

Each member seems to express the same thing when it comes to the announcement. They apologize for the seemingly sudden announcement, thank the fans for all of the support they have given them, and that they hope the fans will continue to support them until the end.

The actual reason for the decision seems to stem from musical differences and differing opinions between the members regarding the future direction of the band. It’s unclear as to if the recent departure of their bassist, Takaya, in October has anything to do with what led up to the announcement.

Hopefully the band will have a good last live, we hope them all the best!
