Glimpse of Sou’s Session Band

Posted by Kaiden On December - 20 - 2009

Recently Sou took to the studio with his new session band, トモダチ。(tomodachi.), which we talked about in late November. he also made a post about the band, with an attatched photo which you can see below! He gathered the band around so that everyone can see Vol.1 of the band. This is suggesting that each different live will host a new line-up of Sou’s friends. I’m interested to see who else Sou will bring.

From L to R: 弥斗(Yoshito)(xTRiPx), ハク(Haku)(キャンゼル(Canzel), 颯(Sou)(ex.少女-ロリヰタ-23区(Lolita23), Soan(Moran), 刻(Toki)(ex-176BIZ).

He said that he has had great feelings working around these guys, something he hasn’t experienced in a while now. After moving into a new apartment, Sou said that he will be thinking to the future a lot more after these sessions happen, he wants to return to being in a band, but this is his way of getting acquainted with the new him who wants to create different music.

It will be interesting to see what kind of band Sou pulls together, or what kind of style of music he wants to do. I have a feeling it might be something similar to old Lolita, where Sou had more of the writing power. During the later years of Lolita, Sou stopped writing as much music and Ryosuke and Ryuto took over those departments almost completely. Though, maybe this is just wishful thinking, it might be something completely different. Who knows, we’ll see soon enough!
