雅-MIYAVI- has finally released the PV for his new song “TORTURE”, which aired in Japan for the first time yesterday. It has received a lot of praise from Japanese fans. What will the overseas fans say about it?
The PV features the basic style that 雅-MIYAVI- has been trying to go for lately, making the videos more about the music rather than the flashy images. However there is that typical 雅-MIYAVI- twist in it if you pay close attention to the background. Dinosaurs, did anyone catch it? Anyway, check out the video!

BugLug is continuing the Kanagawa footage on 89ch! This time it seems the band is truly going on an adventure. They visit a water ride, a haunted house, a carousel, and aquarium all in one video. The haunted house was the highlight of the video, as vocalist Issei was insanely easy to scare. Check it out!

cruyff in the bedroom is a rock/shoegaze band that has been described as having some of the best dreamgaze noisepop on the planet. In September on the 15th, the band will be releases a new album entitled “ukiyogunjou”, and it will come with 11 tracks for 2,100yen. On their official MySpace, you can find a few previews of what seem to be songs coming from the new album, so make sure to check that out!

With all the bad news coming from Luzmelt, there’s finally some reprieve! The band has announced via Darkest Labyrinth’s official YouTube, that they will be participating in an overseas live! They will attend the Dot.con convention, which is based in Toronto, Canada. The dates for this convention is November 13th through the 14th, and tickets are currently on sale for $30 (pre-registration fee), and this is for a weekend pass. You can purchase the pass on the day of the con for $40. Those of you interested in one day passes, Saturday is $35, and Sunday is $20. For more information on Dotcon, click here.

This band isn’t exactly what people would call rock, but they really do give off the “rock vibe”. The band is named →Pia-no-jaC←, and are a two piece band that uses a strange combination of instruments. HAYATO plays the piano, which is common enough. However, band member HIRO plays the cajón, an instrument that is commonly not used.
They formed in 2005, and have always performed with these two instruments. In 2009 around November, PEACE PRODUCTION inc picked them up under their sublabel PEACEFUL RECORDS. The following year in September, they released their first album “First Contact”, and impressed their audiences.
Now the band is releasing their 5th album entitled “THIS WAY UP”, and it will be on sale on the 1st of September. It comes with 7 tracks, and will be available for 2,100yen. It comes with the making of their PV “残月(sangetsu)” which you can watch at the bottom of this post. The single also has two types coming out, however one is a live distributed version only. It comes with the same track listings, however it will have the PV for “残月(sangetsu)” as it’s DVD bonus. Details below!

hot spring is a band that hails from Oita, Japan, and they’ve been together since April of 2007. They have a punky-rock sound, and are a four piece band.
