Posted by Noah On August - 30 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

There is some bad news from rock band knotlamp, they have announced that their guitarist, TETSUNARI, has officially withdrawn from the band as of today. TETSUNARI stated that he is leaving due to “personal reasons”.

The sudden announcement definitely comes at a bad time as the band is currently in the middle of their ongoing, “Dot of the Galaxy TOUR 2010″ tour. However, the good news is that the band has plans to continue the tour with a support member for the rest of their scheduled lives.

For those unfamiliar with the band, they are currently on tour to promote their upcoming new album, “Dot of the Galaxy” that is set to release early next month on September 7th. The release will be available in two different types, both a regular CD only version as well as a CD+DVD limited version.

Track-listing:
01. Into the sky
02. Libra
03. Twisted arrows
04. Fragment
05. Everlasting stars
06. My world, your world
07. A thousand sorries
08. Liberty Bell
09. Coda
10. Aerosphere
11. Until you sleep
[DVD] (Limited edition only)
01.LAST TRAIN -新しい朝- (Atarashii asa)
02. Everlasting Stars

03. Another Escape
04. 遠くへ (Tokue)

The DVD included in the limited edition will feature live footage from the band’s live that took place earlier this year on March 25th at Akasaka BLITZ.

BLAMHONEY fans across the world are in for some great news, the band will be back in action in just a few months!

Ryonai tweeted about the exciting news stating that, “Newborn BLAMHONEY starts from a live activity in November in a true meaning”. Tickets for the event have been priced at 3000 in advance and 3500 the day of.

However, with this great news, also comes some bad news. It has been announced that BLAMHONEY’s new vocalist, HYUGA, has withdrawn from the band as of August 20th. Both Ryonai and HYUGA have left messages for the fans on their Official MySpace blog apologizing for the sudden announcement.

Always thank you indeed for assisting in BLAMHONEY.

HYUGA(BLAMHONEY:Recalled Member) seceded from BLAMHONEY with 8/20 this time.

I wish sincerely to express my gratitude to everybody of FAN who kept watching it as it is severe and is warm at times and everybody of parties concerned in the short span of time.

There is bad news for fans of the indies band 死刑宣告 (Death punish sentence), they have made the unfortunate announcement that they will soon be disbanding.

On the August 20th live at HOLIDAY OSAKA, we announced publically that we would be disbanding after our live at Shinsaibashi CLUB DROP on the 20th of September. All of the members will continue to keep doing their best until the final live, please keep support us until then.
-death sentence-

As the translation reads, their final live will take place on September 20th at Shinsaibashi CLUB DROP. While the reason for disbandment was not given, it seems related to their recent loss of guitarist 紫焔 (Shien). This band seems to have had a lot of bad luck with losing guitarists as Shien wasn’t the first guitarist to withdraw from the band. Late last year they had their first loss, guitarist 蝋牙 (Roukiba), in November of 2009.

Hopefully this won’t be the last we see of the members and hopefully, in their future bands they will have a bit of better luck!

SAKI leaving A&D

Posted by Kaiden On August - 22 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

A&D will unfortunately lose their guitarist SAKI. He said that he will be leaving the band after their October th live at Nishikujou Brand New due to what seems to be musical differences. I’ve translated the message he left on the OHP.

Everyone

It’s a bit of a sudden announcement, but I feel all of you should know what’s going on.
On the 10th of October, after our oneman live at nishikujou Brand New, I’ve decided that I will retire from the band. There was so many things that was running through my mind, I was wondering what kind of things I could do if I continue playing music, but I realized that in the end, it was too difficult discussing with the other members. I decided based on that, I should probably just leave the band.

I’m truly sorry to everyone that has supported me while I was in A&D. I’m not going to retire or want to, but I felt like I should just apologize anyway, especially if I caused anyone problems.

I’m honestly very grateful that I got this change to perform in A&D, finishing out my time in October 10th. I’ll stay positive until it’s all over, and I’ll play our music as best as I can.

A&D will continue on, despite me not continuing on with them. In the future, I want to make sure somehow me and A&D can somehow be connected. Again, it was really sudden to announce this, and I’m sorry, but I hope that all of you will understand. Please keep supporting me and A&D until the end!

DUTCH Leaves INO HEAD PARK

Posted by Kaiden On August - 21 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Another sad announcement today. Vocalist DUTCH of INO HEAD PARK will be leaving the band. He announced that after the 18th of August he will no longer be able to participate in the band’s activities due to health complications.

The doctor informed DUTCH that if he continued on in the band his health problems would only get worse. So in order to take better care of himself, him and the other members decided that he should follow the doctor’s orders. DUTCH appologizes for such a short notice, and that he hopes that everyone will continue to support INO HEAD PARK. He also went on to thank all of the fans for their love and support.

TAKUYA AND SUSSY will most definitely continue INO HEAD PARK into the future! So they hope that the fans will wait in anticipation for their return.

As you all know, bassist Zill of Moran has passed away, and the band was unsure if they would continue activities without him. However recently, the band announced that they will be accepting a new guitarist into the band.  It’s none other than SIZNA, former guitarist of Sugar. This was announced on his birthday! What a wonderful birthday gift that was.

Moran will also hold a memorial live for Zill on the 14th of October. The event will be named “Stand by Me”.  There will be a special session band by former vocalist of KuRt, Tenten. As well as a performance by Mix Speaker’s,Inc. Though some people aren’t expecting this, but a one day revival of the band Gift will also accur!

Sli+pt Welcomes Official Bassist!

Posted by Kaiden On August - 20 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Sli+pt is a visual band that began earlier this year on the 9th of March as a four person band. Vocalist 迅(jin), guitarist 灯乃(hino), guitarist 游(you), and drummer kaizi. They also had a support bassist named Taka. However recently the support bassist has changed his name to NOBU, and was recently dubbed an official member of the band!

"NOBU"

Nobu wrote on his official blog that there has been a costume change, and there will be an announcement on the OHP about the news soon!  All that is available on the OHP right now is NOBU’s profile, however it does seem the band is planning on creating a better PC side to their website. So make sure you check that often, or wait for us to update here!

Meet Awoi’s Newest Members!

Posted by Justyne On August - 5 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Earlier this year, Awoi lost it’s drummer, Hiro. He stated it was for personal reasons, which left Awoi as a three-member band but that didn’t stop them from releasing a new album over the summer. Now, the band has brought in a new drummer named Ryo as well as a new guitarist named 慎(Sin)! You can see the two new members have already been added into Awoi’s latest look with Ryo on the far left and 慎(Sin) on the middle right. Their new lineup now looks like this:

Important boogieman Announcement!

Posted by Kaiden On July - 27 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Before I begin, I’d like to thank invidia for the tip. Recently it was updated on boogieman’s OHP that vocalist ジュンノ(Junno) will be leaving the band due to becoming sick. There was a message concerning it on the OHP, which has been translated below.

Junno’s Retirement Notice

As of now, vocalist Junno will be retiring from boogieman due to his poor healthy. It was Junno’s wish based on the diagnoses of “The continuance of band activity will prove difficult” from the doctor.

As a result, after having a discussion amongst staff as well as Junno, we’ve come to the decision that continuing the current live schedule is impossible, and we will most likely cancel the lives we’ve had planned.

We will be making an announcement concerning boogieman’s future activity very soon.

We’re sorry for any trouble this may have caused anyone.
