Fun Fact: Kiwamu’s Costume For Sale!

Posted by Noah On September - 3 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

That’s right, Kiwamu tweeted earlier that his previous stage outfit that he wore from November 2009 until last month in August 2010 is now up for sale on Darkest Labyrinth’s webshop!

The costume, which was originally designed by Love Cats, is made up of a black military uniform style jacket and pant set with golden embellishments. It has been priced at an impressive ¥50,000 (nearly $600 US) and comes with a Darkest Labyrinth certificate proving it’s authenticity. However, keep in mind that the Suppurate System accessories that Kiwamu had worn with the outfit are not included.

This is pretty cool to see, especially for those who are big fans of GPKism! What bands would you like to see put their stage costumes up for purchase?

Midi:Nette’s MatiN Merchandise

Posted by Justyne On August - 5 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

As you know, Midi:Nette is a record label owned by Mana. And if you’ve checked the online shop recently, you can see there’s been some very interesting merchandise added. These new products are all feature a very funny but very cute caricature of Mana named “まーティン” or MatiN! Some of the merchandise graced with adorable MatiN are hand towels, T-shirts, and even a tea cup! You can see pictures of little MatiN on these items down below:

MatiN Puffy Sleeved Shirt (Pink)
Size: M
¥4,200

MatiN Puffy Sleeved Shirt (Black)
Size: M
¥4,200

MatiN Hand Towel
¥1,260

MatiN Tea Cup
¥1,890

MatiN Clear File
¥1,575

I especially love the tea cup with the heart-shaped handle! MatiN was first seen many years ago but was recently redesigned and given a new look. The little caricature now has cat ears and paws, as well as a new outfit in a lighter blue than what we’re used to seeing the real Mana wear. What do you guys think? Do you like MatiN’s make-over? Or did you prefer the old?

Monologue Garden, Midi:Nette Shop

You may remember our post regarding Mana and Közi’s appearance at the Deep Sanctuary II Guitar Fair that was sponsored by ESP! Our post included a preview of some of the guitar models that both Mana and Közi had designed, however, details on each model were limited.

Thanks to our friends over at the Japan Discoveries online shop, we’ve learned quite a bit more about a few of the models including the very jaw-dropping pricetags attached to them! For instance, the gorgeous guitar you see in the photo above is the, “Signature jeune fille X Bronze Cross Ray” model and while it is very eye catching with it’s built in lights, the price may cause a few hearts to flutter, it’s priced at ¥920,000! And that is after a price-cut of ¥77,500! This means if you want to get your hands on this amazing guitar, you will have to shell out around $10,500.

There is a slightly less expensive option however, the white color version, named, “Signature jeune fille X Gips” is priced at ¥798,000. Which in US dollars is about the equivalent of $9,100. While this is still a high price tag, it is notably less than it’s darker themed sister model. If this is still too expensive for your tastes, there is a black model that is almost identical to the first, minus the lights, and is priced at only around $1,600.

Those interested in getting a look at the variety of guitar models available can find them over here at the Japan Discoveries online shop. I have to say though, I really wonder just how many people are actually going to order themselves one of the 10k model guitars?

They recently announced on their OHP that people attending the event will be able to purchase a special live only released item. It’s a book entitled “Fatima 1998~2005″, and will consist of 48 A4 sized pages in full color.

It seems like there is even more good news for Creature Creature fans, the band has just updated their OHP with an array of new tour goods! The new goods are for their upcoming tour celebrating the release of their latest album, entitled, “INFERNO” that we had reported about just the other day. The newly made available items include a variety of shirts, a muffler towel, as well as a pouch.

The shirts that are available are a “long-length” graphic T-shirt in white, a regular length T-shirt in black, and a ladie’s tank top in black. The long graphic T-shirt is available in sizes small and medium and features a graphic of the album’s cover art. The black T-shirt is available in sizes small, medium, as well as large and features a bold white text graphic. Lastly, the tank top is only available in the medium size and features the band’s logo and album’s name is a glittering pink text. All three shirt designs are priced the same at ¥4000 each.

The other two somewhat “miscellaneous” items are the muffler towel and the pouch. The muffler towel is black and features a very similar design as the tank top, pink text of the band’s name and logo. However, the pouch has a bit of a different design and is a shimmering silver color also with a pink band-name and logo. Both of these items have been priced at ¥2000 each, making them the cheapest options out of the new tour goods.
